Lorna Buchanan lives in the Parish of  Buchanan which lies along the East Side of Loch Lomond and the North bank of the River Endrick. 

In her workshop there, she creates beautiful individual jewellery and small objects in sterling silver, fine silver and 9 carat gold.  As everything is made by hand, no two items are identical.   Look in the Gallery pages to see examples of pendants, bangles, earrings, items for children and even kilt pins.  If an item is large enough, it will carry the Edinburgh Hallmark and the maker's mark.

Lorna has always been  an obsessive designer and is very interested  in architecture and interiors, and, particularly, the finer details .  She loves the technical side of her craft and is also a Chartered Engineer.

When not silversmithing, Lorna Buchanan spends her time with her husband Gordon and their two young children,  likes to play the odd game of golf , canoes on the Loch and listens to Mahler and Robbie Williams.
